Contributing

The canonical contributor guide lives in the repository as CONTRIBUTING.md (npm vs Bun, Node versions, Rust tests).

On this site:

• Rust API (rustdoc) — browsing runjucks_core documentation and workspace layout.
• Package managers — lockfiles and CI expectations.

Deep parity notes and file-level references are kept in the repo (NUNJUCKS_PARITY.md) rather than in these docs.

After cloning the repo, use Node.js and npm as described in CONTRIBUTING.md; the documentation app in docs/ requires Node ≥ 22.12 (see docs/package.json engines).
